As human beings, we often fantasize about change because we may feel overwhelmed, uncertain or dissatisfied in some aspect of our lives.
It can certainly feel lonely to face our troubles singularly and try to overcome one’s challenges. My goal with clients is to explore and talk through these struggles in a safe and comfortable environment. I want my clients to feel safe, seen and heard.
I’ve spent more than a decade working with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life stressors, trauma, grief and loss, and career changes. I know how difficult overcoming these struggles can be and the value of therapy as a means towards creating new tools for living with life’s challenges. Through psychotherapy, an important goal exists to achieve a better understanding of the nature of these hurdles and to harness the desire to live a more meaningful and purposeful life. I work with teens, adults, couples and families to sort out their specific provocations and find workable solutions.
